My trading basis, in this instance, for the UK, is that I charge travel by the mile, attendance by the hour, and a very low cost per print in comparison to the traditional folk. Images will be posted very quickly after the event in a gallery to which the customer has exclusive access, unless they choose to open up viewings by passing on the URL supplied. This will enable guests and others to also purchase images quickly after the event. Before removal of the gallery (normally after 6 months from wedding date), I may also offer high quality based images burned to disc - then if you want additional enhancement work, cropping etc later on, again, I charge by the hour, but very reasonably.
With this work, I do not normally retain copies longer than 6 months after gallery takedown (1 year after event), so advise that you order as many discs as you want immediately post event. Discs will be supplied playable in UK DVD players, as well as in computers on request. In all cases on confirmation of booking, a release licence must be signed and a mutually agreeable, generally non refundable deposit paid. I will be posting a schedule of rates for the various wedding and events services before xmas 2012 on this page, but please bear with me whilst I bring the site up to what I want it to be. I am happy to accept enquiries and date reservations in the meantime without deposit being due until confirmed. If you wish me to travel overseas, then tickets and accomodation must also be covered, plus a deposit of £500 or $1000 US must be paid.
