| My photo recreation and general image restoration work is aimed at those of you who may have some favourite images from years gone by, which perhaps have not been cared for - maybe laying around in drawer bottoms, perhaps become ripped or damaged, or they could even have faded and the colours gone. Apart from scanning or re-photographing your image, the original you supply remains untouched, and I supply you with a new digital print, fully repaired and adjusted. EXAMPLE 1 - A PENCIL DRAWINGBelow, is a drawing, originally done in the 1820's. Its owner found it in a piece of furniture in a barn, covered in a mouse nest and asked me if I could do anything with it. They were more than happy with the two prints produced - one as a pencil drawing restored and framed, the other as a hand coloured wall print.
![]() The work took around 4 hours overall. A professional restorer told them it was beyond salvation - the original was, but the image WAS salvageable. EXAMPLE 2 - A MUCH CHERISHED PHOTOBelow, is the original, and an almost finished end print (skin and clothing textures to restore still). This example took around 3 hours to get to this stage, and another two to finish well enough to get an A4 print from. The original was a little larger than passport sized.
