Commercial Availability of my image stock

All images presented on this or external sites to which I link are held on archive either as high quality RAW files and/or large JPegs.

Software is available to adapt these images to commercial needs.

If you have an interest in using one or more of my images, I am more than happy to discuss any way in which I can assist you. Whilst I do not normally submit to stock sites, if the correct negotiations can be agreed, I am happy to convert or submit images for you to purchase direct.

Generally, my opening negotiating position for commercial use of images is 75% of LOW price, based on the Stock Photo Price Calculator, but I am happy to upload almost any image for stock use at fairly short notice. For items sent direct by me, as an absolute minimum provision, regardless of agreed price, I insist on the receipt of one copy of the publication, regardless of format, to be received at the business address within seven days of first issue.

Please contact me for further discussions or negotions - I am prepared to be quite flexible on price for multiple purchases or if repeat business is likely.

For print purchases, standard invoices will follow on 30 day credit terms once the buyer is approved.

Use by Charities & Museums etc

I may well waive payment for almost any use by registered charities and similar organisations which I feel deserve my support, but would request that the photo be credited in such cases, or a link placed if used on a website. I would hope that images be used in context, and would like to exercise the option to see and approve the final use before I grant individual use - if this is not possible, due to time or operational need by you, then a copy of the publication or page, would be appreciated for my files. Again, please contact me for further discussions, and head the mail "Charity Waiver" in the subject line, and give details of the image you wish to use, and details of the organisation you are working for (including registered charity number), as well as a named individual as a main point of contact with e-mail and phone contact.

Charities who use my images, will be promoted through a link page on this website at some point in the future. Maximum image size provided in digital format in this instance will be limited to 1200 pixels on longest dimension unless a good reason for supply of a larger size is given.

Please note, some images are published with all proceeds being donated to a cause. A typical example being images of RNLI lifeboats, for which proceeds are donated to the RNLI, and should they be requested by the RNLI for use, would be donated so long as credited when used. I also support the Leicestershire Air Ambulance and a number of other charities based on sales from within specific image sets.

 An open letter to those who wish me to work for free, or to use my images without due recompense
